Cryo-Cord
The total cost of the Cryo-Cord service is 13,000 AED for collection, transport, processing of cord blood and storage of stem cells for the first 20 years. This fee can be broken down as follows:
Cryo-Save Arabia’s Processing Fee: 3,000 AED
The processing fee covers the cost of the collection kit, cord blood processing and testing of the sample. This fee is non-refundable and due at the time of enrollment.
Cryo-Save Arabia’s Storage Fee: 10,000 AED
This fee covers 20 years of cryogenic storage of your baby’s cord blood stem cells at Cryo-Save’s state-of-the-art cord blood processing and cryopreservation facility. This fee is due upon successful storage of the stem cells.
For twin births, you are entitled to a 50% reduction on the storage of the stem cells of your second child.
After the first 20 years, it is possible to extend the contract, thereby storing the stem cells for another 20 years. The cost of extending the agreement for a further 20 years is 6,000 AED (plus correction for inflation).
There are no extra costs for releasing the stem cells, upon request by the treating doctor, and dispatching them to the place of treatment.
